Fire Advisory

Due to continued warm temperatures and increased wind speeds a Fire Advisory is in place for the MD 133 of Spirit River including the town of Spirit River and Rycroft.

  • Under these conditions light fuels will ignite easily and a fire can spread quickly. Use extreme caution if you are burning and ensure a water source is nearby.
  • Small safe campfires are allowed. Never leave a campfire unattended. Soak it, stir it and soak it again until cool to the touch to ensure it is extinguished.
  • The Fire Advisory will remain in effect until conditions improve.
