Our district was founded on pioneer spirit, and driven by agriculture and the Northern Alberta Railway.
Our area boasts beautiful pastoral views, and plenty of wide-open prairie to explore. Outdoor enthusiasts are sure to find adventure within our rugged, rural landscape.
The 1916 expansion of the Northern Alberta Railway was crucial in securing the long-term prosperity of our district. You'll find many reminders throughout the district of this important part of our heritage.
