And the Winners Are…! 📸
The MD of Spirit River No. 133’s 2026 Photo Contest has officially wrapped up, and we are delighted to announce this year’s winners!
Congratulations to Jo Ann Edey, who captured First Place with a wonderful photograph of a Moose in a Granary, earning the $200 first-place prize!
Our congratulations also go to Janine Green, whose beautiful autumn photograph of a Dog Surrounded by Fall Colours earned Runner-Up and the $100 prize.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated and shared their photographic talents with us. From the beauty of our rural landscapes to the wildlife and everyday moments that make this area so special, your photographs offered a wonderful glimpse into life in the MD of Spirit River. We appreciate every entry!
We would also like to extend a very special thank you to our contest judges, Div Patel, Rhonda Yurchyshyn, and Jackie Lefley, for generously volunteering their time and expertise to review the submissions and select this year’s winners. Your time and dedication are sincerely appreciated.
Congratulations once again to Jo Ann and Janine, and thank you to everyone who helped make our 2026 Photo Contest another success!
Keep those cameras handy—we look forward to seeing what you capture next year!
